Description:

At once fully automatic and capable of functioning by starlight or spotlight, the eye is able to capture more than a million colors in high resolution, representing the ultimate camera. This learning program will introduce you to the physiology of the visual system, the system responsible for this impressive level of optical performance. You will begin by learning how the optical components of the eye bend light to form a sharp image. You will then learn about the cellular machinery responsible for encoding this visual information into nerve impulses that can be relayed to the brain.
